Monica Moore is a Detroit native and has been a member of the Gesu team since 2024. She has a Masters in Clinical Psychology from the University of Detroit Mercy and worked for more than twenty years in community mental health. She started in various ministries after high school, beginning with Children’s Liturgy of the Word and was certified as a catechist. She is a member of the Detroit Catholic Charismatic Assembly. She also has been involved in several ministries at Gesu parish for the last thirty years, including intercessory prayer, Bible study, music and sacramental preparation. Her passion is to help people come to know (experience) and fall in love with the living God! Monica and her husband have two daughters. She enjoys reading, knitting and gardening whenever she has the chance.
