Mr. Hart is originally from Detroit and graduated from the University of Detroit Jesuit High School. He has a Bachelor of Arts degree with a double major in English and French from the University of Michigan in Ann Arbor and a Master of Business Administration degree from the University of Notre Dame in Indiana. He has worked in management positions in the fields of publishing, Catholic social service, Catholic education, investments, and technology. He has experience in finance, operations, marketing and human resource management, and his duties at Gesu Parish and School are centered not only on operations, but also on putting the parish/school on a path to strategic and sustainable long-term growth. In his professional past, Mr. Hart has most recently been an administrator at a Catholic elementary school in Chicago. Additionally, he has been an editor of reference and children’s books, formed start-up companies in the publishing as well as software fields, and he has worked on enterprise-wide project management initiatives in organizations large and small. He is an avid reader and is interested in anything having to do with books and the written word. In his spare time, he enjoys watching baseball and hockey as well as films. He has worked at Gesu since 2019.
