Mr. Cuellar is a native of El Salvador, and has been a part of the Gesu team since 2018. He studied Computer Systems Engineering at the University of El Salvador and is certified as a technician in agroecology from the Lutheran University of El Salvador. He has served as a co-founder, programmer and project manager for two startups: one in the field of information technology and another nonprofit environmental company committed to environmental education for the less favored and to environmental justice in El Salvador.

One of Mr. Cuellar’s main objectives in his career has been to put technology to work in the service of just causes that generate a positive impact on the lives of others. For this reason, he is happy to be at Gesu, where he can focus his knowledge of implementing technical tools that are focused on process optimization in business for the purpose of providing the best service to staff and stakeholders.

Mr. Cuellar and his wife and two children feel blessed by the love and warmth the Gesu community has extended to them since arriving in Detroit in 2017. When he is not at work, he loves to fish, tend his garden and spend time with his family.
